About This Car Boot Sale
Bedale Town Council's outdoor Saturday sale fills Bedale Park from late March to mid-October, with a different local organisation helping each week as a fundraiser and Sockjohn Promotions supervising. Sellers do not need to pre-book and should enter beside Bedale Golf Club. A contracted caterer and ice cream van trade on site. Free parking in the park is limited; when it is full, visitors can use disc parking in the Market Place or pay-and-display car parks on Bridge Street. Heavy rain, high winds or unsafe ground can cause a same-morning cancellation, so check before travelling.
What to Expect
Bedale Park Car Boot Sale runs every Saturday in Bedale, Yorkshire & Lincolnshire, with outdoor pitches. It runs from March to October. Sellers can set up from 6:00 AM, and buyers enter from 6:00 AM.
The official 2026 calendar lists weekly Saturday sales from 21 March through 17 October. Sales may be cancelled in the early morning for heavy rain, high winds or unsafe ground conditions, so check the council's latest notice before travelling.
Seller pitches start at £10 for a car; van pitches start at £15; trailers cost £15.
